1. Confirm the battery type and whether the power is sufficient
Make sure that the batteries used are alkaline batteries. Carbon batteries are prone to insufficient discharge performance, resulting in blurred prints.
Be sure the battery level is higher than 30%. In the event of low battery conditions, the lack of voltage may result in a loss of print clarity.
3. A dirty print head or adhesive on the print head can also cause poor print quality.
Wet a cotton swab with alcohol, gently wiping the print head. Note that the main thing to do is to clean the black line.
Please see image/video provided for reference.
4. Keep the paper in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight.
If the paper roll is kept in a humid environment or exposed to direct sunlight for a long time,
the thermal reactive layer may deteriorate and the image may not be displayed properly.
1. Thermal paper should be stored in a dry, cool environment. When not in use, keep it sealed to avoid exposure to direct sunlight, humidity, open flames, heat sources, or high moisture conditions.
2. Under conditions of 0-35°C with 65±5% relative humidity, single-layer and triple-layer thermal materials can preserve their print quality for 2 to 3 years.
3. The printed side should not be stuck face-to-face, should not come into contact with packing tape, and should not touch plastic wrap, as this may cause fading or discoloration.
4. Consumables should have external packaging, preferably sealed in plastic film. After each use, reseal the packaging properly. Rolls should be stored upright.
