[D30] How to avoid blurred/missing prints
unclear printouts are usually caused by the following reasons:
Insufficient power, dirty printhead, poor picture clarity.
1.Keep the printer fully charged
Be sure the battery level is higher than 30%. In the event of low battery conditions, the lack of voltage may result in a loss of print clarity.
2.Be sure to choose the right paper.
Because of the difference in materials, choosing the wrong paper may result in poor printing results.
3.Avoid printing QR codes and complex images
Since the D30 is a small size labeller, the resolution is not sufficient for printing complex pictures and QR codes.These two usage scenarios need to be avoided.
4. A dirty print head or adhesive on the print head can also cause poor print quality.
Wet a cotton swab with alcohol, gently wiping the print head. Please see image/video provided for reference.
5. Keep the paper in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight.
If the paper roll is kept in a humid environment or exposed to direct sunlight for a long time,
the thermal reactive layer may deteriorate and the image may not be displayed properly.
1. Thermal paper should be stored in a dry, cool environment. When not in use, keep it sealed to avoid exposure to direct sunlight, humidity, open flames, heat sources, or high moisture conditions.
2. Under conditions of 0-35°C with 65±5% relative humidity, single-layer and triple-layer thermal materials can preserve their print quality for 2 to 3 years.
3. The printed side should not be stuck face-to-face, should not come into contact with packing tape, and should not touch plastic wrap, as this may cause fading or discoloration.
4. Consumables should have external packaging, preferably sealed in plastic film. After each use, reseal the packaging properly. Rolls should be stored upright.
6. If after trying the above steps, your problem is still not resolved.
